Online library of classes.

The Online Library has supported me in the quality of learning Gyrokinesis movement. Yelena, is truly an artist in how she teaches. Her imagery, framework and the use of energy and expansiveness shows in her intuitiveness of body movement education.

The video/classes weave instruction to support integration and balance of your full musculature. While I take scheduled classes with Yelena, the library allows me to enhance and restore the movements that my body needs at home. There is so much depth within the instruction that guides me to connect more with my body and open up space in my restricted areas.

To re-envision how my body moves, I use the library almost everyday. The selection of videos allows flexibility with my schedule as some are shorter( 30-40min) and others are longer( 70 min.). Thank you Yelena for creating this library at such a reasonable cost for everyone. It is truly a gift.

Gyrokinesis class is an affordable and consistent way for me to get the benefits of the Gyrotonic method, and I have been studying with Yelena for years. She is the best Gyrokinesis teacher I have met. My muscle fascia is naturally very tight and constricted, but after class I find myself moving gracefully like a dancer, and I KEEP moving gracefully all week long. Yelena is an intuitive teacher who sees where I can improve each movement and coaches me to change my patterns. She is dedicated to her own continuing education and brings a wealth of knowledge and techniques to every class.

As our sessions progressed, I learned that there is a proper way to move.

I thought that I was coming to Gyrotonic Method because I could not find an answer as why my back hurts, so I wanted to give it a try. Once I started to try… What I noticed first was how stiff and tight I was not only in my low back, everywhere. As our sessions progressed, I learned that there is a proper way to move, there is certain way to engage a proper muscle to do certain thing; Like walking, standing, sitting, how to raise your arms.

I cannot imagine my life without Yelena and Gyrotonic exercise.

Honestly, I cannot imagine my life without Yelena and Gyrotonic exercise. Over the past six years, it has become essential to my well-being. Old leg and foot injuries from a car accident prevent me from enjoying the usual activities of walking and gym-type exercises. The unique equipment allows me a feeling of freedom.

Yelena gives all her clients the best attention they have ever received in their whole lives (I’m sure). She focuses 100% on each person as an individual, analyzes your strengths and limitations, and always asks you to put forth greater effort.

As with any “practice” it requires making a commitment, and over time I have become stronger and my balance has improved … even recovering fully after a scary and painful bout of sciatica a few years back.

Yelena has a “hands on” teaching style that is really special. I love her Russian accent, and feel so fortunate to have an on-going relationship with her.
